Insurance core to CDP implementation
Your policy data should power your next customer journey.
Connect policy administration, billing and distribution data to your CDP. Launch journeys that react to real policy events, give advisers useful context and lay the foundation for approved AI workflows.

Where the work gets stuck
- 01The CDP is live. The renewal journey still starts with a spreadsheet.
- 02The event arrives too late. A renewal, cancellation or payment change reaches marketing after the useful moment has passed.
- 03The profile misses the policy. A CDP profile exists, but the applicable policy, household or producer relationship still needs manual checking.
- 04The next step stays manual. Someone exports an audience, checks permissions and copies the context into an adviser task.
Journeys that react to real policy events
Connect the policy event, current consent and adviser ownership to one complete customer journey. We scope and implement the data path, activation rules and distribution handoff, then verify the changed, duplicate and failed-event cases.
- Act on the event: trigger an approved journey from current policy and billing context, with consent and eligibility checked before activation.
- Give distribution a useful next step: route follow-up to the right adviser or broker, with the relevant context and an attributable outcome.
- Give AI agents a connected foundation: let an approved agent assemble context, prepare a task or draft a message within agreed permissions.
How the implementation works
01
Map the journey and its dependencies
Choose one event, one audience and one business outcome. Confirm where policy state, identity, consent and producer ownership come from.
02
Build the data path
Implement the required APIs, event or batch ingestion, governed identity links and data contracts. Preserve effective dates and reconcile the source records.
03
Launch one complete workflow
Connect the event to journey orchestration and the distribution handoff. Add an approved AI task where it removes manual work.
04
Test the awkward cases
Exercise consent withdrawal, changed eligibility, duplicate events, stale data and recovery. Hand over monitoring and clear ownership.
An illustrative first wave
Connect one policy event to one permitted lifecycle journey and one adviser or broker follow-up path. Here, the event is a renewal.
01
The trigger
A policy enters its renewal window. Involved: policy and billing, CDP and consent, and producer ownership.
02
The foundation
A current policy event linked to the right person, permission and adviser.
03
The workflow
Check eligibility and current consent. Prepare an approved renewal task. Route follow-up and record the outcome.
04
The result
A timely renewal workflow with policy context attached.
Illustrative example. Not a client engagement or result. Outreach, advice and policy changes follow the insurer's approved rules and authority.
What acceptance should show
Records reconciled
Source counts, identifiers and effective dates reconcile.
Invalid actions suppressed
Consent withdrawal and changed eligibility suppress the affected action.
Event edge cases handled
Duplicate, delayed and replayed events produce the agreed behavior.
Outcomes traceable
Producer routing and journey outcomes can be traced to their source.
Ownership handed over
Release, recovery and ongoing ownership are demonstrated.
Proposed checks. Delivery commitments follow technical validation.
Your next step
Start with a free first-wave review
Share the policy event and customer journey you need to unblock. A senior Jextra engineer reviews it with you and sends back a first-wave scope you can use with your team. Implementation is scoped separately.
- The systems and data involved: where policy state, identity, consent and producer ownership come from
- The first workflow to deliver: one policy event, one permitted journey and one adviser or broker follow-up
- Acceptance checks for consent withdrawal, changed eligibility, duplicate events and producer routing
- The missing interfaces and open decisions to settle before implementation

Request your first-wave review
Tell us which policy event and customer journey the first wave should support. A high-level description of the policy platform, CDP and follow-up owner is enough. Please leave out policyholder records and credentials.
Questions
Do we need a new CDP?
Not necessarily. The first step is to assess your existing platform and the missing data path. Replacement is an option when the current estate cannot support the agreed outcome.
Can this fit our insurance line?
The example uses a renewal event. Life, annuity, benefits and medical-payer journeys need their own contract, member, adviser and consent rules, so tell us your line when you share the journey.
Where does AI fit in?
After the data path. Once the policy event, consent and adviser ownership are connected, an approved AI agent can assemble context, prepare a task or draft a message within agreed permissions. Outreach, advice and policy changes still follow your approved rules and authority.
What is free?
The first-wave review and the scope we send back, with no obligation. Implementation, technical inspection, integration and production validation are scoped separately.
How is the result measured?
We agree a baseline for event-to-action delay, manual handling and follow-up completion. Conversion or retention is tracked over an appropriate period, without assuming attribution.
What happens after the review?
If you want to go further, the next step is a technical scope review with your marketing and data owners. It identifies the code and configuration work, the evidence needed for acceptance, dependencies and release conditions. Delivery commitments and a commercial proposal follow that review.
